Alamy’s Ones to Watch in 2025

Last year we had the pleasure of welcoming many new names and faces to Alamy. To kick-off this year we thought it would be best to celebrate some of our most influential photographers as we can see them having a big 2025!

Week by week these photographers surprise and delight us, offering brand new authentic images that fit perfectly in our creative collections. Read on to find out more about five Alamy contributors that we think will make waves this year, let them inspire you to pick up your camera and start the year off strong, and perhaps upload some more images to Alamy.

AnnaStills

Anna was busy at work all throughout 2024 uploading 1000’s of images with us. Her work mostly focuses on lifestyle shoots but also creative portraiture.

The sheer variety of images she uploaded last year was truly impressive, we couldn’t predict what her next shoot would be. This type of flexibility can be a great asset especially when it comes to diversifying your portfolio and reaching a wider audience.

Artem Firsov

Artem is an expert when it comes to all things underwater and in the sky; he and the models he photographs are impressive to say the least. We’re always on the lookout when it comes to this type of specialist content as we know it’s not easy to photograph when surrounded by a a sea of sharks!

He mostly shoots in his home country of Indonesia but has ventured out into the USA and Maldives. Who knows where 2025 will take him, for now you can check out his full collection here.

Zoltan Gabor

We’ve loved looking through Zoltan’s work over the years, and featured him in one of our spotlight blogs back in 2023.

When we interviewed Zoltan he said: “I started personally travelling, discovering and photographing wonderful places at the best possible time and under the most beautiful light conditions. At that time, I was only working with a DSLR camera, but after a few years, I felt that I wanted to develop my portfolio to another level”. We’ll be the first to say that he’s certainly reached another level and then some. In 2024 he explored even more of Europe’s most picturesque locations including Croatian waterfalls, the Italian Dolomites and famous architecture in and around Hungary. We can’t wait to see where his camera takes him next and how his collection evolves in 2025, don’t forget to check out his full collection here.

Jan Rozehnal

Jan has been supplying us with fantastic wildlife content for almost 8 years now and with each year his collection only seems to get better and better. What Jan does great is making sure to be as specific as he can when it comes to keywording his images. Making sure that the correct animal or plant has been identified and pairing it with its scientific name, Aegolius funereus (Tengmalm’s Owl) for example, is a great help when it comes to appearing in front of the right customers.

Crevous

Crevous took us on a hike through the Moroccan mountains in 2024, making his way through Akchour, Agadir and Iferouane Peak which sits at over 4000m high.

Away from hiking he treats us to an authentic view of Morocco through its history and culture — let him inspire you to explore locations and scenes that aren’t heavily saturated as these areas could be exactly what a customer is looking for. Inspired by the idea of “Slow Travel”, it may benefit you to explore the less populated areas of a country when travelling as it will unearth locations that not many people have photographed, and allow you to stand out from the crowd like Crevous does.

Shout-out to all the photographers featured in this blog but also to all the new photographers that have joined us already this year; you never know you could be the next person we’re looking to feature.
